Happy May Day to All, And quite the birdy day it proved to be! Sally
Swain and I led a walk for Cornell Cooperative/Suffolk County Parks this AM
at Terrell River County Park and had the following warblers: Yellow, Common
Yellowthroat, 4 Bluewinged, a Chestnut sided, Nashville, Yellowrumps, Pine,
Prairie, and Black & White. Other luminaries were White eyed Vireo, 4 House
Wren, 7 Gray Catbirds, a Great Crested Flycatcher, and Ringnecked Pheasant.
Somewhat later Hunter's Garden provided: 5 Ovenbirds, 2 Northern Parula, 2
B&W, a Magnolia, a Nashville, Yellowrumps, several Black Throated Greens, a
Black throated Blue, Scarlet Tanager, Blue headed Vireo, and Hairy
Woodpecker. Good May Birding, Carl Starace
