I spent the morning birding at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Queens.
Highlights included:

4 species of Terns (Forster's, Common, Least and 1 Gull-billed), Lesser (15)
and Greater (4) Yellowlegs on both East and West ponds, Least Sandpiper (1)
and 4 Green-winged Teals seen on the North West end of the West Pond. The
lone Greater Scaup continues on the West Pond.

Good Birding and Happy Independence Day!
