Friday morning, pre- Earl rain - on the previously reported by Carl  
Starace Manorville, LI sod fields, 3 Buff Breasted Sandpiper, 108  
black-bellied plover, 4 Killdeer.  At the Osborn Ave., Riverhead sod  
field, 54 Killdeer, 4 Black Bellied Plover, and 3 Red-tailed Hawk  
posted on nearby farm structures.  All were there when I left.  No  
American Golden Plover that I could find, but heavy rain was starting  
to fall around 10:15, and I wimped out.
