Bob May and i took a tour of the sod farms today with great results.At the Riverhead sod field on rt 105 just north of the fire training building great looks at 2 bairds and 1 buff breasted sandpipers.Several semi palm,plovers and numerous larger plovers at a long distance couldnt be idd.At the Shoreham sod farm at least 8 of the 12 large plovers were american goldens the rest black bellied.Several semi palm. plovers 30 or so killdeer and a dozen peeps were also there.
