I had a Chimney Swift come through yesterday afternoon (Oct 23). It
flew no more than 100 or 150 feet above the treeline and exited due
south of our hawkwatch platform. I'm sure this occurrence is not an
"extreme" date by any measure, but it seems a tad late. Has anyone
else observed swifts over the past few days?
