I went again today and stayed several hours (between 11:30am and 4:00pm) at the sanctuary. The bird was mostly in the southwestern area of the sanctuary, moving between several trees back and forth while feeding (catching flying insects). I never saw it in the feeders’ area, where it used to be last Saturday. Around 2:45pm the bird was about 300-400 feet from the trail when it disappeared behind the trees. It was spotted a couple of times in the same area but it was not seen again after 2:50-2:55PM. I left at 4pm and there were several birders waiting for the bird to reappear. If you were thinking of visiting the site tomorrow, I would recommend that you check out Birdingonthe.Net before leaving home.
Good luck!
