The previously reported (thanks Will & Nancy) nicely marked adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was still present at the Coxsackie Boat Launch this morning (~10 AM). Also, an immature ICELAND GULL was amongst the 800 or so mixed flock of gulls on the ice next to the parking area.
There was also an adult male AMERICAN KESTREL on the power line along River Road (Co. Rt 61), north of the Village limits (in the vicinity of Green Meadow Lane). There was a PURPLE FINCH joining House Finches and Goldfinches at a feeder in Athens.
