Hi all,

Spring has come to Westchester!

Croton Point Park:
52 TREE SWALLOWS hunting over Croton Bay. I spotted a large group of
40-50 swallows on two occasions, from different places in the park,
but since the number of birds was close I couldn't be sure they
weren't the same group--so I just took the high count (52).

Plus, two American Kestrels working the old landfill. Also a
Yellow-rumped Warbler and Savannah and Swamp Sparrows, species I
haven't seen in the park since the first snowfall of winter.

Marshlands Conservancy:
2 OSPREYS on the platform, copulating.

Good birding,
