Earlier today on a Home Depot "run", I made a quick stop at the same Riverhead re- charge basin for the 4th straight day, and found both #'s of shorebirds, and water level down. At 7:15 PM, I returned, and found the # of birds had risen some. They consisted of: 1 Killdeer, unchanged from yesterday; 1 Greater Yellowlegs, up from 0; 1 Solitary Sandpiper, down from 4; 23 Least Sandpipers. down from 27. Cheers, Bob --
