No one seems to have posted about yesterday (Sunday) so I will report no sightings that day (AFAIK). I arrived about 5:00pm. There was a group of four birders wrapping up their visit. They said they had looked and walked both north and south of Oil City Road, to no avail. I stayed until 7:00 and saw no B-b whistling ducks. This is a beautiful area however, completely new to me. Highlights: large impressive Snapping Turtle on Oil City Road west of the parking area. Marsh Wren, Swamp Sparrow. flyby Green-winged Teal. Orchard Oriole singing several hundred yards north on the gravel road. At 6:30, very clear hooting of a Barred Owl in the woods southwest of the parking area. Bob LewisSleepy Hollow NY
