For the record, the Director (R. McIntyre) of the Marine Science Field Station in Southampton (part of Stony Brook University's School of Marine and Atmospheric Science) sent out an email yesterday (Aug. 30), with photos, about a Brown Pelican feeding in Old Fort Bay (south of Tuckahoe Road) near the field station's dock.
