Three American Golden Plover were in the WE2 parking lot this morning with Black-bellied Plovers. Nickerson Beach had a good variety of shorebirds in the flooded fields, including White-rumped and Pectoral Sandpipers.
Yesterday a Buff-breasted Sandpiper was still present at Heckscher State Park, but was found in the lawn area west of the Field 6 pavilion with Killdeer.
