NYbirders,
To follow the discussion of the recent Setauket Black-headed Gull and
the potential for hybrid influence, a medium-sized hybrid gull flew
past the north end of the barrier at Avalon, New Jersey today (22
November) during a massive seabird flight. We took this to be a
probable adult Black-headed Gull x Ring-billed Gull hybrid. My photos
are online here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bonxie88
Cheers,
Tom
