There are still a few (very few) spots left on NYSOA's gull field trip to be held in Ontario, Canada on Sunday, January 8, 2012. The Saturday workshop by gull expert Jean Iron of Toronto is free and open to the public, but the Sunday field trip, led by Willie D’Anna, an authority on gull identification in the Niagara Region, requires preregistration. More information about the speaker and field trip leader, trip arrangements, directions and membership in the New York State Ornithological Association can be found at the NYSOA website, nybirds.org.
