As of noon today Wed. Jan. 18 2012 the Greater White-fronted Goose was on the pond at Gerry Park in Roslyn, NY. The goose could be viewed from the parking lot in the park itself or the municipal lot on Old Northern Blvd. in downtown Roslyn. The goose was in the Northwest corner of the pond. Also on the pond were Gadwall, Mallards, American Coot, Mute Swans and Canada Geese. A Belted Kingfisher was rattling around the pond also. Steve Schellenger
