Camman's Pond, Merrick & Mill Pond park, Wantagh; 27 Feb Driving east on Merrick Road, I stopped by both of the above spots and found the usual suspects. Lots of waterfowl, but no Wood Ducks. When I reached the north end of Mill Pond, I heard the unmistakable loud call of a COMMON RAVEN. I looked and found it flying over head heading east. Otherwise sunny with too much wind to head down to the beach.
