The Saturday morning bird walk at NYBG began shortly after the rain stopped. It turned out to be a beautiful day.
The PILEATED WOODPECKER was spotted on Tuesday down by Twin Lakes sitting in a wooden fence. The birder who saw the woodpecker said she had a very good look before it took off.
