Minutes ago while working through a flock of Laughing Gulls on the South End of
the East Pond @ Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. I came across an adult
Black-headed Gull in breeding plumage. Also seen in the same area was a lone
Gull-billed Tern. Good luck if you try for either birds.
