On my way home tonight I observed a female Yellow Warbler hopping around in my
lane on Lincoln Ave just south of DeWitt Rd. in New Rochelle.  There was alot
of traffic at that time and I was able to slowly drive over it without harm as
did two other drivers behind me.  I pulled over to try to help it but
unfortunately before I got to it it had been hit.  I saw it jump up a few times
as cars went over it, kind of like armadillos do, but it was hit by one of the
cars who went over it.  Another sad end to a beautiful bird.
