A pleasant morning walk through the Ramble. At Maintenance, a Canada
Warbler and a thrush, probably Swainson's. An Ovenbird on the path
between the east edge of Evodia and the stream above Azalea Pond. At
Azalea Pond, a Swainson's thrush (much easier ID this time) and the
inevitable female Common Yellowthroat. Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks (two,
both female or immature) at the east side of the Upper Lobe, near the
big willow. The thrushes, Ovenbird, and Grosbeaks were my first of the
season.
