It's probably not a Hooded Crow - see: http://www.howardsview.com/HoodedCrowOct21st_12/HoodedCrowBrigOct21st_12.html where it's now tagged as a leucistic American Crow, which seems the more appropriate ID in light of the photos on that page (the ones on the lower part of the page are from the actual Hooded Crow, on LBI last year).
