WHILE SEARCHING A SMALL GROUP OF PINES ON THE 15TH HOLE ON BELLPORT COUNTRY CLUB GOLF COURSE(PRIVATE) THIS AFTERNOON, I CAME ACROSS SOME GOLDFINCH, PINE SISKIN AND A WHITE WINGED CROSSBILL. THE CROSSBILL WAS FEEDING BELOW EYE LEVEL AND ALLOWED ME TO APPROACH WITHIN AN ARMS LENGTH AND WENT RIGHT ON ABOUT IT'S BUSINESS. THIS WENT ON FOR 15 MINUTES. I WAS QUITE SURPRISED AT HOW TAME THIS BIRD BEHAVED.

THANKS
LEE STOCKER
