No Barnacle or Cackling geese today but did have a Common Merganser, 7+ Hooded Mergansers, a Ruddy Duck, and a female Northern Shoveler in with the geese on the lake at Van Cortlandt Golf Course. Some idiots with a dog scared the geese off the fields soon after I got there so didn't get a long parusal of them. Atleast the rangers saw them do it and talked to them. Wish they'd gotten a ticket though.
