Date: Jan. 7, 2013 After frustrating birders all weekend the Snowy Owl has reappeared at Napeague. The bird is on Hicks Island visible from the boat ramp at Napeague. Also present were 30 Purple Sandpipers at East Hampton main beach. They were on the jetty 1/4 mile to the left. Happy New Year, Joe Giunta --
