While the Yellow-Throated Warbler was a no-show this morning (at least
until around 1 pm), Hempstead Lake State Park did yield a few good birds.

Highlights included 1 Black Throated Green Warbler and 1 Blue Headed Vireo
among some of the more numerous:

Yellow Rumped Warbler
Black and White Warbler
Palm Warbler
Pine Warbler
Blue Gray Gnatcatcher
Both Kinglets
N Rough Winged Swallow
Barn Swallow
Tree Swallow
Brown Thrasher

Something else of interest was 1 Blue Jay with no tail feathers to speak
of. It seemed to be doing quite well but I found it rather odd.
