And likely the same bird that was seen and photographed at Poughkeepsie

Subject: [nysbirds-l] American White Pelican flew past Dobbs Ferry 5:30 am
headed south on Hudson

 

American White Pelican was off Dobbs Ferry at 5:30 am and flying south just
offshore, on the Hudson. I tried all the waterfront parks south to Yonkers
but didn't see the bird again. Presumably this was the bird seen at Piermont
yesterday.   Gail Benson
