Today, about 4:30 PM, while driving on the North side of the Eastern Riverhead Air field, I was surprised to disturb two Ruffed Grouse and a Turkey in the heavy grass about 10 feet away from me. I think that this is only the second time I have seen any Grouse on Long Island. Andy Murphy --
