Less than 100 shorebirds on the East Pond at Jamaica Bay Wildlife
Refuge but the diversity was good with 15 species of shorebirds.
Highlights were:

WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER (2), STILT SANDPIPER (2), BAIRD'S SANDPIPER (1)
and the continuing MARBLED GODWIT.

At Big John's Pond, there was a lone SOLITARY SANDPIPER.

Sent from somewhere in the field using my mobile device!
