Hi Folks,
Stopped by "Galeville"(Shawangunk Grasslands) late this afternoon and enjoyed a visit with The Mayor, Ralph Tabor, and the Short-eared Owls rose up at 4:30pm and started their patrols. We counted 4 of them before I left.
At home in the Town of Newburgh at 10:55pm a pair of Great-horned Owls were duetting from two houses away. I hope they have a successful nesting season later in the winter.
Any Owl day is a GREAT day!
