In addition to the Snow Bunting, found by James Knox, and the species already mentioned by Andrew, other notable sightings enjoyed by the participants of my NYC Audubon bird walk included American Pipit and Cooper's Hawk.
However, today's ultimate sighting came long after my walk officially ended when at about 10:40 am, an immature Golden Eagle sailed over the Parade Grounds. It turned several large circles high above, before it continued it's journey, moving southwesterly direction toward the Hudson.
