At around noon today (Dec. 30th), a mostly white (probably adult male) SNOWY OWL was perched on top of the big "Waterloo Premium Outlet Mall" sign which if very visible from the NYS Thruway, west of the Waterloo/Clyde Exit #41 (same exit as for Montezuma NWR).
If this one follows the form most of the others around the state, and stays put, it would make an easy addition to anyone's Seneca County list for those traveling around for the holidays.
