This afternoon, first between 4:10 & 4:45 P.M., and then again between 5:35
& 5:45 P.M., I stopped at the above location, with the following, combined
results: !00 + Horned Larks; 1 A. Pipit; at least 5 White-crowned Sparrows,
and a single accipiter (sp ?) which came hurdling down the fence line in
a westerly direction, passing me (inside the car), while parked in an
easterly direction. The bird disappeared by the time I got out to look for
it, and, of course, caused the disappearance of most of the smaller birds !
Hopefully, tomorrow I'll have more time to look for the longspur, I
was looking for today !

Cheers,
Bob
