Around noon today I checked the fresh water wet lands by the Mashomack Preserve visitor center for the third time this year and was able to find 8 Rusty Blackbirds, 5 males and 3 females. I reported it at e-bird, hope it reached the research group. Orhan Birol Shelter Island
