The previously reported Black-necked Stilt is still present at the Goethals 
Pond in Staten Is.  It appeared at 4:10 PM but more toward the back center of 
the pond and walked east.  I'm so glad I saw it as this has been a nemesis bird 
for me for NYS since I started birding!
