I just received a call from Ed Becher who reported a Brown Pelican briefly touching down in the ocean near field six, but then picked up and kept on heading east.
Many thanks to Ed for the report and I applaud the folks who continue to use the list serves for rare and or uncommon bird reports. Many folks who don't use any of the other messaging services are quite grateful for these updates. Good luck for those who try to catch up with this bird.
