Posting on behalf of Mike Shanley Will RaupGlenmont, New York The Western Kingbird originally found by Dick Veit late this afternoon at Mt Loretto DEC Unique Area in southern Staten Island (Richmond Co.) was re-found by Seth Wollney around 640pm and was still present when we left the park at 7pm. It spent a bit of time perched in a large tree on the left side of the main path (Kenny Rd) if you are walking towards the bluffs from the parking lot. The tree was located near the vernal ponds that flank both sides of the main trail.
