  The Buffalo Bird Report is a service provided by your
  Buffalo Museum of Science and the Buffalo Ornithological
  Society. To contact the Science Museum, call 896-5200. Press
  the pound key to report sightings before the end of this
  report.

  Highlights of reports received November 6 through November
  13 from the Niagara Frontier Region.

  November 7, a female EVENING GROSBEAK at a feeder near the
  Lake Ontario shore in the Town of Wilson.

  On Grand Island, at Buckhorn Island State Park, 31 species
  this week highlighted by a single PINE SISKIN and 4 SURF
  SCOTERS including an adult male. At the south end of Grand
  Island, at Beaver Island State Park, BALD EAGLE, 4 COMMON
  TERNS and 46 TUNDRA SWANS.

  November 10, 2 EARED GREBES and 2 HORNED GREBES at the
  Batavia Waste Water Plant. Twelve waterfowl species at the
  plant included LESSER SCAUP and 590 RUDDY DUCKS.

  GREATER YELLOWLEGS were reported at several locations in the
  Iroquois Refuge and surrounding Areas. Another GREATER
  YELLOWLEGS in a pond on Clarence Center Road. Also a LESSER
  YELLOWLEGS at Windmill Marsh in the Oak Orchard Wildlife
  Management Area, with 3 SANDHILL CRANES and 2 adult BALD
  EAGLES.

  Waterfowl highlights this week - 4 CACKLING GEESE at the
  Gypsum Ponds in Oakfield. HOODED MERGANSERS - 23 at Tifft
  Nature Preserve in Buffalo and 93 at Windmill Marsh. 250
  NORTHERN PINTAILS at Mohawk Pool in the Iroquois Refuge.
  Twenty TUNDRA SWANS over the Town of Bethany in Genesee
  County. And east of the region on Lake Ontario, a ROSS'S
  GOOSE at the Hamlin Beach State Park lakewatch.

  Other recent reports - ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK coming in off Lake
  Erie at Dunkirk Harbor. An unexpectedly large flock of 75
  HOUSE FINCHES in the Town of Porter. And, reported SNOW
  BUNTINGS at a bird bath in Cheektowaga.

  The Bird Report will be updated Thursday evening, November
