There is a first spring male Summer Tanager on the north side of butterfly
meadow on lookout hill in Brooklyn's prospect park. Bird was found this morning
by Klemens Gasser before it flew west and was not relocated for a few hours.
Bird was refound briefly in same area by Phil Davis on Brooklyn Bird Club walk
before again flying west. Bird was singing during second sighting and is prob
still in area.
