I am sorry to post a non sighting but to those on this list interested in conservation efforts the following link is a current story about Piping Plover Restoration on the North Fork. The people involved in the destruction of PPL nests makes me ashamed of some of our North Fork citizens. Thank heavens there are good people that are willing to stand up for what is right.
