Highlights: Black-crowned Night-Heron (at the Upper Lobe spotted by Nina Moinester) Eastern Wood-Pewee - before the walk at Summer House Meadow Eastern Kingbird Warbling Vireo Red-eyed Vireo Common Raven - 2 soaring over Warbler Rock (Ardith Bondi told us she's seen 2 over the Pinetum a few minutes before) Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Worm-eating Warbler (top of the Point spotted by Carine Mitchell) Northern Waterthrush Blue-winged Warbler Black-and-white Warbler Common Yellowthroat American Redstart Magnolia Warbler Yellow Warbler Chestnut-sided Warbler Canada Warbler Wilson's Warbler Song Sparrow plus the usual suspects. A couple of interesting tweets on Sunday: Alice Deutsch reported a Worm-eating Warbler at the source of the Gill at around 10:30am. Ed Gaillard reported a Hooded Warbler at Tanner's Spring at around 11:30am. Alan Drogin reported that he has seen a Worm-eating Warbler at the north end of the park on Saturday (8/15).
