40 minutes in the park this morning yielded a yellow breasted chat (this one in the thickets before driving up road to nature center), also first Palm warbler of season, a black throated blue, a few kestrels and Charlie Roberto picked up a Merlin. Incredibly in yet another County faux pas at CPP a small "wetland" area just in front of the model airplane field was mowed down, dug out, and filled in with dirt. Brilliant.
