This morning at 8:30, I had 2-3 scores of PM's flying around my gourds, but
none landed.
Instead they preferred the electronic antennas on top of the masts of sail
boats.
I counted about 25 on one mast, there were 3 sail boat masts they perched
on.
I have been having same numbers which landed on my colony for about 3 weeks
on and off in the last weeks of August and September, photographing banded
ones from 11 different colonies in Connecticut.
The latest I had numbers like this was mid-August in prior years.
