An Orange-crowned Warbler today in the Oakland Lake field in Queens. 4th warbler species there this November (Nashville, Blackpoll, Palm). But is this really November? I guess the newly arrived Am. Tree Sparrow says it is.
In honor of the reddish teal at Montezuma, I've posted a picture of individual that was in Florida in November 2011, which the locals were calling a hybrid Cinnamon - Blue-winged. http://stevewalternature.com/ This one is different looking. For those of you have pulled out your waterfowl literature, you might have fun with this. And I want try seeing how Chris Wood's comments apply to this one.
