Today at Bronx Zoo, Pine Siskins (two, possibly more) accompanied American
Goldfinches in Sweetgum crowns near Asia parking lot. Some Rusty
Blackbirds too in trees bordering Children's Zoo. Also a late/overwintering
Gray Catbird has been hanging around Zoo Center lately and surprise of the
day came in the form of a Baltimore Oriole (female/immature) - a flyover
that landed briefly in bare tree crown - also near Zoo Center.
