A Nashville Warbler that I found on Sunday continues in Oakland Ravine. For
anyone that has a need to see one before May, the location is on 56th
Avenue, just east of the intersection with Springfield Blvd. (3 blocks north
of the LIE). There is a sign on the street (north side) for Oakland Ravine,
which is bounded on the east by Queensborough Community College (easy
parking when school isn't in session). There is a paved walkway that goes a
short distance to a stone fence overlooking the ravine. The Nashville may be
getable from this vantage point, and in fact, sometimes comes out almost as
far as the street. Today, it may have been associating with Juncos (where
have we heard that before?).
