Tuesday, 23 February, 2016 -

An Iceland Gull was present on the reservoir in Central Park (Manhattan, NY. City) at ~ 8 a.m., as well as a breeding-plumaged drake Red-breasted Merganser, both photo'd.; also seen again, smaller goose with duskier breast, presumably the same one of much recent discussion, with about 300+ additional (Canada) geese. At the bridle path near the reservoir, a flock of 15 Cedar Waxwings appeared just briefly in a small cluster of sumac trees.
