A brief stop at Flushing Meadows/Corona Park earlier today yielded the
wintering Clay-colored Sparrow associating with a small Dark-eyed Junco
flock. The birds were in the same general area as previously reported and
due to the snow covered grass all the birds were feeding along the roadside
edges. I saw no sign of the Lark Sparrow.
A small group of Brant were the only geese of note and 91 Great-blacked
Gulls seemed like a decent number considering there were few other large
gulls.
An adult Bald Eagle put up all the waterfowl and gulls as it drifted south
over Meadow Lake.

Good birding,
