Central Park NYC - Bonaparte's gull at Reservoir Wednesday April 20, 2016 OBS: Ben King
Ben King just called to report a Bonaparte's Gull in breeding plumage at the Reservoir today between 12 and 1pm. The bird was just a bit east and north of the fountain and keeping to itself. Birders in Manhattan might want to take a look in case the bird is still there. Deb Allen P. S. I believe the last report of the species at the Reservoir was from Jacob Drucker in May 2012. -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/NYSB.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
