Unfortunately, they were taken with my lightweight mirrorless camera, which does ok with close, slow-moving subjects on sunny days, but none of those conditions applied today :-). A big plus is that the camera is waterproof, and it continued to function during a steady drizzle. The pics are cropped and blurry, but show features of the bird that could be diagnostic for Hermit. A big thank you to Alexis Lamek for insisting that this bird deserved a second look.
