A mid day trip to the East Pond did not turn up the Wilson's Phalarope seen earlier this week, but the Acadian Flycatcher, Gull-billed Tern and White-faced Ibis were all present. The only shorebirds seen were Eastern Willet, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Lesser Yellowlegs and Greater Yellowlegs, but it was low tide and certainly not optimal for numbers of birds to be roosting on the east pond.
